For hundreds of years, garlic has been known for its unique values in the treatment of various diseases, from the common cold and ending with complex inflammation.
Recent studies have shown, however, that garlic has such strong medicinal values that it is more and more often recommended in serious heart conditions or cancer.
Its key values are determined by two key compounds that translate into its strong healing properties – a sulfur-rich amino acid called allicin and an enzyme called protein-based allyase.
Allicin is a very delicate compound that is able to survive only a few hours. Its properties are similar to a strong natural antibiotic, which also has antifungal and antiviral properties.
Allicin only exists in raw garlic. Cooking causes it to disintegrate into other compounds that do not have such an effective health action. Medicinal properties of garlic rely on the mobilisation of white blood cells in the body to fight infection while stimulating other cells of the immune system to fight viral, bacterial and cancerous infections. W zasadzie wszystko zaczęło się od harcerskich wędrówek, które stopniowo zaczęły łaczyć się ze wspinaniem. Generalnie ojciec mojej drużynowej był himalaistą i dzięki temu z górami wysokim miałem styczność w dosyć młodym wieku.
Widziałem jak on się pakował na wyprawy wysokogórskie kiedy bylem młodym człowiekiem. To niewątpliwie mogło dać jakiś impuls, ze zainteresowałem się bliżej tym tematem. Po latach na skutek różnych doświadczeń biznesowych i obserwacji innych ludzi stwierdziłem że ja mam pomysł na to, jak to zrobić po swojemu. To był moment w którym podjąłem decyzje o zawodowym podejściu do tego tematu.
A po drodze były oczywiście sytuacje , że gdzieś tam mnie znajomi polecali na zasadzie „mam takiego kumpla” i jak ktoś chciał wejść na jakąś górę to dzwonili do mnie i pytali się czy nie mógłbym gdzieś z nimi w góry pojechać.

- 4 sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp olive/coconut oil for heating
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 clove of garlic crushed 8 minutes before cooking to benefit from its properties
- 2 cm freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 600 ml vegetable stock/water
- 400 g cooked chickpeas rinsed thoroughly
- salt and pepper to taste
- a drizzle of extra virgin cold pressed olive oil or
- 1 tsp coconut yogurt
